Apart from just interviews and conversations with peers regarding their frustrations and goals, I decided to take on the whole process we had in place for when someone wants to apply for a leave.
First thing, I had to check my calendar if I had any important meetings or not, then frame a well-articulated email with the date(s) and reason for the leave and send to my Project Manager and cc other project
managers, HR. Then finally, wait for the acknowledgement/approval to finally get my leave. After applying, I realised that I have no idea about how many leaves do I have left.
Apart from this, I find myself waiting for HR’s response whenever I have even a smallest of query which ends up wasting my time.
